In answer to my desire to show one more time at GGG while I still had my strength, an opportunity looming 10 months later put me in a panic. I had a number of themes, but as I was working, I strayed from my plans and things did not go as I wanted them to leading to inconceivable results. A year later, I am still uneasy. As expected, everyone also had the same reaction. It's not as though I have really studied design but on the whole I've gotten to where I am without being very clear about design. There was the joy of an easy to understand job of rationally condensing and conveying what had been confused and unorganized. The subjective rather than the objective. With individuality starting to work as a medium, the objective was becoming hard to see. Caught in the middle of that whirlpool, this exhibition came about. I would like to live long to enjoy how after a great deal of reason appears again, visually conveyed expressions change. Masayoshi Nakajo
