The Tokyo TDC Awards 2023, an international graphic design competition focusing on the visual representation of written language, attracted a total of 3,679 entries, 1,983 from Japan and 1,696 from overseas.
 
As a result of rigorous screening by the 40-member selection committee and through a lively exchange of opinions, 484 works, including the 11 award winners and 74 nominated works, were chosen for inclusion in the design yearbook to be published in fall this year.
 
The annual exhibition showcasing competition entries will be held from March 31. About 130 of the world’s most cutting-edge graphic works will be displayed, including those that received awards or were nominated. This year, as always, the works to be displayed are topical and stimulating, so please look forward to it.
