The Tokyo TDC Awards is an international graphic design competition focusing on the visual representation of the written word and language. It has been held annually since 1990, making this the 34th time it has taken place. 
     During the competition’s entry submission period from August 1 to October 5, 2023, we received 3,675 entries of extremely high quality: 1,830 from Japan and 1,845 from overseas. As a result of extended screening of the graphic works in digital and physical form by the 40-member selection committee, 486 entries were chosen for inclusion in the design yearbook. At the same time, 10 award winners and 52 nominated works were selected.
     At the TDC 2024 exhibition detailed below, around 130 of the most highly rated graphic designs will be displayed, including those that were awarded or nominated for prizes. As in previous years, the exhibition features an extensive line-up of topical works that are sure to impress visitors.
