‘Behind the Seen’ is a travelling exhibition with an overview of the work Studio Dumbar created during the past twenty years. Before it arrived in Japan ‘Behind the Seen’ was shown in the Netherlands and Germany and in the near future it will travel to the United States of America, China, Australia and South America. When ‘Behind the Seen’ was opened in GGG and DDD, I was very impressed by the beautiful locations and the excellent organization. Even though both locations could not expose the complete exhibition, it was still very impressive to see how much work could be shown in these beautifully designed galleries. I was very honoured that so many top designers and promotors of good design attended the opening of the Studio Dumbar exhibition. This Japanese experience has inspired me to make plans for a comletely new travelling exhibition in the near future. Long live the initiators of GGG and DDD! Gert Dumbar
